- Will my team lose access to Zendesk Sell during the migration?
Your team keeps working in Zendesk Sell throughout the entire process. We build your Salesforce environment separately, test everything thoroughly, then coordinate a planned cutover only when you're ready. Sales operations continue uninterrupted.
- What data can be migrated from Zendesk Sell to Salesforce?
We transfer your core sales data: contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities (deals), activities, notes, tasks, and custom fields. Since Salesforce structures data differently than Zendesk Sell, we map everything carefully to the correct objects and fields. Email threads, call recordings, and documents need special handling, we'll walk through what's possible during planning.

- What happens to our data if we don't migrate before August 2027?
Zendesk has confirmed that all Sell data will be permanently deleted after August 31, 2027, or when your subscription ends, whichever comes first. Once deletion starts, it cannot be reversed. We strongly recommend starting your migration at least 6-12 months before your deadline, especially for complex Salesforce implementations.
