It produces higher-quality, more maintainable code than any other AI coding tool, but it's slower for rapid front-end iteration. Cursor is the AI code editor of choice for working on existing codebases, modifying, extending and refactoring code fast. Where Claude Code builds, Cursor edits. For most enterprise projects, Claude Code handles the architecture and logic; Cursor handles speed and iteration on what already exists. They're complementary, not competing, and knowing when to use which is part of what a good vibe coding agency brings to a project.
