Grow your Business with HubSpot Custom Cards

Many people, despite having in-depth knowledge of HubSpot, have never come across HubSpot custom cards. So today we’re going to take a look at what they are, what they are used for, some tools, and we’ll provide you with a real-world example.

So, what are HubSpot custom cards?

In simple words, HubSpot custom cards are simple views inside HubSpot. The data you see is pulled from your favorite platforms and displayed in an easy-to-understand way. Bear with us.

What are they used for?

Well, that’s up to you and what you need. But take some inspiration from what we use on a daily basis.

  • Project Management: Sync project status and tracked time directly in HubSpot deals. Use any PM platform.
  • Marketing and Sales: You can use platforms such as Mailchimp to enhance your customer relationship management.
  • Financials: Automate the integration of invoices or transactions into HubSpot deals; this way, it’s easier to bill customers and keep track of sales processes.

Some tools to consider

As you’ll soon see, we use Make.com as the integration platform, but Workato, Zapier, and others do the job just fine. Same goes for the platform you want HubSpot to be integrated with.

Real-world example

Now, as promised, the visual example. Imagine you have an ongoing project and it’s time to invoice the customer. How about you do it directly in HubSpot? As mentioned above, through custom cards you can see the live time tracking of each project, the PM and affiliated developer. Cool, right?
